What temperature rating for the thermal switch?

What temperature rating for the thermal switch?

The thermal switch in the Mr. Coffee unit is not marked with a rating. I replaced it with a switch rated just above boiling (102 deg. C), but it shuts off almost immediately when water starts to boil. What should the temperature rating be?
