How do I change cartridge belt in Epson Stylus Photo RX680?

How do I change cartridge belt in Epson Stylus Photo RX680?

Somehow the carriage jammed and the belt broke. My RX680 has a CIS ink supply system, so I'm not sure if the supply tubes may have jammed the carriage. I did learn more about changing the motor in the Epson Stylus C84, but not how to disconnect the belt from the backside of the carriage. I have located a replacement belt, but no "how-to" instructions come with it.
