Why does Kodak easyshare z1012 power on then immediately power off.

Why does Kodak easyshare z1012 power on then immediately power off.

Powers on then set up date and time comes up i press to set up but then the camara shuts off. Lens is active, battery is new and new sd card. Please help with repair and or price it would take to fix
