External ThinkpadKeyboard's Thinkvantage and Mic-Mute-Keys in Ubuntu 9.10

External ThinkpadKeyboard's Thinkvantage and Mic-Mute-Keys in Ubuntu 9.10 xev does not react to the pressing of the two button mentioned above. Thus xorg doesn't recognize them.
