Rutile dressing method include the mechanical re-election (washing, screening, high intensity magnetic separation and flotation separation) and fire enrichment, chemical processing method.
1. Rutile washing and screening
Washing is the use of hydraulic flushing or additional mechanical scrubbing for the separation of ore and shale. Commonly used equipment are washing griddle, cylinder washing machine and trough-type washing machine.
Washing operations often is associated with screening. Screening can be as an independent operation, the separation of different particle size and grade of product to supply for different uses.
2. Rutile re-election
Re-election only is used for sorting simple structure, embedded in the cloth, coarse grain size of rutile stone, especially for oxide rutile at high density. Common methods are heavy media beneficiation , jig beneficiation and shaker beneficiation.
3. Rutile high intensity magnetic separation
Rutile crystal belongs to the weakly magnetic minerals . Sorting magnetic separation operation is simple and easy to control, high adaptability, and can be used for a variety of rutile dressing, in recent years has been dominated in the rutile ore dressing. New types of coarse, medium and fine-grained magnetic machine has been developed successfully. At present, the most common domestic rutile is medium-grained strong magnetic separator, coarse and fine strong magnetic separator has gradually been applied , while micro-fine strong magnetic separator is still at an experimental stage
