Chrome ore beneficiation process are as follows: mined ore first by jaw crusher, is preliminary broken, broken to a reasonable degree of fineness through the elevator, feeder into the ball mill for grinding of the ore. After the ball mill grinding the ore , fines into the next process: classification. Spiral classifier with the principles that different proportion of solid particles of different precipitation speed in the liquid, the ore mixture is washed, graded. After a magnetic separator, washed and graded mineral mixture, due to the different variety of minerals than the susceptibility through magnetic force and mechanical force, the mixture of magnetic material are separated. After the preliminary separation of the magnetic separator, mineral particles are sent into the flotation machine to make the expected minerals separated from other substances, then adding different drugs which depends on the mineral characteristics. Afther minerals are separated, because they contain large amounts of water, subject to the initial enrichment of the concentrator, and then the dryer can dry minerals.
In the metallurgical industry, chromite is mainly used to produce ferrochrome and chromium. Chrome ore ferrochrome production as the steel material , add a variety of high-strength, corrosion resistance, abrasion resistance, high temperature, oxidation-resistant special steel such as stainless steel, acid resistant steel, heat resistant steel, ball bearing steel, spring steel, tool steel, etc
